Upgrading!

Hello,
I've had a 'gaming' PC for about 10 months and I would now like to upgrade, It isn't all balanced. My CPU Isn't too good and I don't have much ram but I have a good GPU
Here are my specs:
CPU - AMD FX - 4130 Quad-Core 3.8GHz
RAM - 4gb DDR3 Ram (Don't know MHz)
GPU - Sapphire radeon r9 270 Dual-X
PSU - CORSAIR CX600M
I would like to upgrade so I can run games even more smoothly and just smoothly in general.
-I can run a game called BeamNG.Drive at around 20-40 fps (A bit jumpy from time to time) but i would like it so i can run it at a steady 30-40 ish.

Any Help would be helpful!
-Thanks,
Ricky

Have you update all the relevant driver?
    Extra 4GB RAM?
    What HDD have you got?
Spend £25 on heatsink and OC your CPU?

I have updated all my drivers,
    I'll get more RAM soon
About the OC, I don't know how to overclock and I'm scared to do it encase I break it.
If I upgraded my CPU would that make a difference? or not?

    Thanks for the reply!

if your mobo will take 8GB RAM, then I'd do that first and see how it runs. If still not happy, swap CPU for a FX-4350.
If still not happy swap GPU for a R9 290.

I don't think that i will be upgrading my GPU anytime soon,
It works fine but i think i have bottleneck my PC a bit,
So when I upgrade my CPU and RAM Then I should get my 100% power?
Thank all you guys for your help!
