Blank Box in my Yahoo Account

About a week ago when I went into my Yahoo account via Chrome an empty rectangular box appeared over the top part of my emails page, which stops me from doing various email related stuff.
It has been ok via by Explorer, but now that is the same and I can't get rid of it.
I have tried installing anti-virus software, but nothing seems to shift this empty box.
Any idiot proof suggestions would be gratefully received.
