We have a large living/dining room and want to replace the carpet that has been down since the 90s ( we've only lived with it for four years, it's an ex rental)
We have 2 dogs and often foster for a local charity too, so we're looking for something robust and waterproof, and definitely not carpet or laminate.
I have looked at kardean, amtico and other similar, but realised I don't actually want something that looks like wood/tiles and I really like the idea of a plain black floor and found the Tarkett modern living
Was wondering if anyone had any experience of this flooring

If so, is it robust enlighten to cope with dogs and a clumsy husband?
I'm also open to suggestions for other types of flooring that I may not have though of, but I'm quite settled on the idea of black, which would work nicely (in my opinion) with white walls and red rugs.
Maybe something industrial?
