Email Links Not Working

Hi
I wonder if someone would be so kind to assist.
I use Yahoo mail and up until a few weeks ago it was all working fine. Now when I click an email link on MSE or a webpage, the email address does not appear in the send to box or indeed anywhere.
I checked out Google which suggested I update my browser (FF) and Adobe which I've done but no improvement.
Can you help?

Go into firefox preference, select applications, search for "mailto" (all one word) and then when it comes up you should be able to select yahoo mail in the options next to it.0
