Need some kind of help &/or advise

Hello there everyone. I'd be pleased if u manage to help me out with my situation. As an 21 year old, working 40 hours per week immigrant do I have a chance to get any support from government? Working taxes, house benefits or anything that might help me out. I can't really understand all of those things eventhough they seem to be quite simple.

I appreciate all the comments in this thread

Yours,
Simon.

    Are you single?
    Living with a partner?
    Any children?
    Any disabilities?
    Do you rent?
    What do you earn?
    What country are you from?
How long have you been in the UK?

Single, no disabilities, I rent house with my friends, about 11k per year, Poland, 5 months.

Is that before or after tax etc for 40 hours? As minimum wage at age 21 is £6.50 per hour.

If you are entitled to any housing benefit, it's based on the shared room rate. The maximum you can get is the amount that LHA (local housing allowance) is set at - even if your rent is more.
