Literally just about to buy them. Before I do though I need to know what I need to buy to hook them up to my Xbox 360 and my TV/Sky Box.
I underatand it comes with cables to connect to PC but how would I connect it up to my tv and console as well? What cables would I need, how cheap can I get them for (with good quality obv) etc..
Thanks for your help

A little impatient giving only 2 hours for a reply? when most people are at work.
The 360 has an optical output on the cable that it came with. well mine does but I got apremium one Im not sure regarding the core system. it has the flap on the connector block next to the cable that goes to the TV.
Unfortuantly it isnt possible to get the details for those speakers as they have been replaced but you just need to know what inputs they have and outputs that your devices have and link them together.
The newer Z5450 dont have standard RCA (phono) connectors on them so you may need a convertor for the sky box unless it has a digital output on it.0 -

I was under the impression it had the same connections as the z-4540 but thats just an assumption! Will have to check the sky box tonight *hopes for digital out*. How much do convertor's cost if I need one.. And will it take any quality away[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

if it is the same as the 4540 then you will just need to buy a cable that will go from RCA (phono) to a 3.5mm jack plug (headphone) now you can buy a cable witht he convertor built in or buy an RCA to RCA and a convertor I posted a picture of a similar cable last week I think. the convertor was pocket change about 3GBP (pound sign isnt working on this customers PC) quality wise its fine I use it to rip stuff off the TV

ROFL... using a customer site for MSE posting, ripping stuff off the TV.. ah well.. you still deserve thanks from me ^-^
Well I have the premium pack for a start so will check tonight to see if any optical cables in the box.. where abouts you get the convertor from? Suppose I can pop into my local maplins, if its not that much....
Would it be 2 connectors (red and white) into one? I might be confused but hey. If you're not busy, link to products on maplin electronics websites are awfully kind

This is the sort of thing there are loads on ebay of similar quality (crap) There are better cables out there. I wouldnt buy anything untill you get the speakers they may have different connections available than the newer system.
This is the cable I use, well the two ends of it. just a RCA to RCA with the convertor to 3.5mm jack on it
btw the cable is a thor cable and cost a small fortune
Also the 360 doesnt come with an optical cable you have to buy one. And the customer was a vvip and I was setting up a VPN in to one of the top football clubs in the country
