I was given a window ticket 14 Days ago for parking in a JAS car park in Basildon. I've sent them the drafted email i found on the forum and they replied with, see below.
can some one help me with an "Appeal Winning" draft letter or give me a link to find one? It cost me enough money each month driving 1000 mile round trip to see my daughter without a parking ticket for parking for 15 minutes.
Much appreciated
Roy
Re: Parking Charge Notice Number JAS15383 (Vehicle: R8YSB)
Site: Staples/Carphone Warehouse Basildon
Issue date: 17/10/2014
Thank you for your email. The reason the parking charge notice was because the driver parked your vehicle and left the premises and went out which is not authorised. When the parking charge notice was issued the driver was not inside Staples/Carphone Warehouse.
The driver was seen leaving the car park, this is a breach of the car parks terms and conditions. The driver was given a 10 minute grace period to return to the car park.
I note you have not denied that the driver breached the terms and conditions you have simply submitted a internet based copy and paste appeal format, to which I am not obligated to answer the points raised in this format.
Staples/Carphone Warehouse car park is only for customers whilst using the premises. Our car park terms and conditions are clearly written on the 5 sign boards that are displayed throughout the car park.
Our sign boards clearly state below.
• Vehicle left in the car park before or after using either premises.
• Restrictions apply 24/7 including weekends and bank holidays.
• No waiting / no turning / no overnight parking / this is not a pick up or drop off site.
Vehicles parked at the driver’s risk.
I would like to remind you that when the driver parked your vehicle on the site in question, they contractually agreed to abide by the terms and conditions attached to that site. As stated, these terms and conditions are adequately displayed on signage at the site. If the driver did not wish to abide by these terms and conditions, nor accept the charges incurred should they be breached, they were under no obligation to park on the property in question. Please be aware that our signage meets or exceeds the requirements of the British Parking Associations codes of conduct.
Therefore the driver has breached the terms and conditions of the Car Park. So unfortunately on this occasion your appeal is unsuccessful.
You now have a number of options from which to choose
1. Pay the Parking Charge Notice at the prevailing price of £56.40 within 14 days. Please note that after this time the discounted rate will no longer apply and the Parking Charge Notice will rise to £94.

Use one of appeals in the Sticky thread for NEWBIES under the How to Win at PoPLA section.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Hi Roy, and welcome to MSE forums!totally new to all of this, where can i find this sticky thread?

You would be so much better off using the forum and learning from other threads, if you practised a bit by clicking on things and not asking for links - otherwise you've no clue where to find things. Look, twice on this page there's a 'Forum Jump' on the right. Click 'GO' and you get to page one where surely you must have started out when you first decided to click 'new thread' instead of reading some threads? Or did you start somewhere else and click 'new thread' without reading any threads?
Anyway one hop and you are at page one with the sticky threads at the top. Read the newbies thread. Post #3 of it has a hyperlink 'How to win at POPLA'.
Appeal and win and in the meantime why not learn how to use a forum to your advantage? You can then use any forum about any subject (it's not just about starting a thread an asking a question, you've missed the entire hidden 'iceberg' of previous threads if you do that).
For example, putting in 3 letters into 'search this forum' will find you dozens of other JAS threads. And 'search this forum' is on page one where you get to when you do the Forum Jump. the 3 letters to put in the search engine are of course, JAS.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
