Do I need an aerial for Talktalk/Youview?

I am in a position where i can leave Sky and get a cheaper package elsewhere, and have found that Youview through Talktalk looks like my best option (so far)

I would be all in with fibre broadband, phone and a TV package, but on the Talktalk website when building a potential package it says it's preferable to have a working roof aerial. We have a roof aerial but i dont think it works. would this be an issue or would all channels for tv not come through the broadband anyway?

Most of the TV channels come through the aerial, there are only a handful that come via the internet, so yes you will need a working aerial to use YouView to its fullest potential.
