Free loft insulation

I'm not on any benefits but understand I might be eligible on postcode. Plus my existing loft insulation meets the criteria in that it is barely there, roof height is adequate etc..
I did do a search for these postcodes and found one site which said I wasn't eligible but I've lost the link.
A search has revealed various suppliers saying one might be eligible but you have to fill in a form or phone them to find out whether your postcode fits the bill.
I'm guessing I might then be subject to a sales pitch!
Why is this so difficult? I just want to know whether my postcode is included without a hard sell!
Does anyone have a link?
Cheers

I bit the bullet, as also didn't want to get into hard sell, and phoned British Gas.
No hard sell just a few questions and told I would be eligible.
Only drawback was my appointment for a survey is for Feb 2015:eek: but I was assured in reality I wouldn't have to wait that long0 -

Did British Gas tell you it's a full energy survey of your home, which includes photos being takrn of all rooms?0 -
I've heard that sometimes there is a charge for a survey?
This may not be true but I suspect that one would at least be subject to a sales pitch at the time of the survey. Like when carpet suppliers try to persuade you to go with the extra fabulous underlay0
