No way is the radiator going to work efficiently in the situation.
The full design is going to be claustrophobic. I'd remove at least one larder units and move the fridge to that side. If insisting on a larder units, then lose the radiator and opt for plinth heaters.
The position of the hob is shocking.
I can recommend a brilliant fitter but the design plays a big part in the overall success, unsurprisingly.
Agree with above, would position hob /oven/extractor units in centre with wall units to side. No other wall units as it will enclose kitchen space. Put fridge where larders are with radiator on same wall. Gain extra base top where fridge was. As above if you really require larders put in plinth heater plumbed into were radiator was. But its all personal taste/requirementsThe world is not ruined by the wickedness of the wicked, but by the weakness of the good. Napoleon0 -
Thanks for the replies everyone !
I wasn't sure whether to go for radiator or plinth heater - anyone any idea of the cost of fitting a plumbed in one ?
theres no handles because I specified without while i decide what i want !
the cooker is off centre or I'd only get the pull out cabinets either side which aren't as spacious.
any more thoughts or advice ?0 -
Aren't you going to have a lot of plumbing issues with the sink and dishwasher on one wall and the washing machine on the opposite wall? How are you going to put the drains in?
Would be better on the outside wall alongside the DW and sink, so only using one lot of drains.
Just my 2 penneth ! lol0 -
I thought i would have to have wall units on the right hand side ( if facing the cooker ) as the boiler is there.0

washing is integrated and on the same side as sink , its a tumble drier on the other side !0

motomoto,
i see you are still having problems after the advice I gave you last week and funnily enough the people above are pointing out the same problems as me. Its time to go see a kitchen designer and not howdens.
Doozergirl has summed it up with 'That is more of a 'put cabinets in until they fit' approach more than a kitchen design'. Its a terrible design it wont work, id hate to have to try to fit it. Go to another supplier and ask to see a designer not a salesman and not someone who only puts boxes on walls.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. The pull outs are more spacious because you get full access to everything in the cabinet from front to back. At present, you will only get to access the front of that cabinet which is small anyway.
Primarily, it looks silly. Pull outs are expensive, however, so I would even be minded to move the cooker from that wall altogether if the budget didn't allow for pullouts. Or put wine racks either side and accept some reduced storage in the name of a kitchen that looks like it wasn't stuck together like a lego kit.

Are you anywhere near Stirchley? Paul and Chris at Benchmarx are nice people. I'm sure they could do a bit better than that. I design my own, so i don't see what they come up with from scratch, but you also need to be minded that it needs to look nice as well as be functional if you expect to gain the full benefit of the kitchen on your house price, for example. They are cheaper than Howdens as well. You could even buy your kitchen from the people you use to design it.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
