What to do with these airline miles?

I got in my British Airways account 28,000 Avios. My wife got 17,000.
I also got in AAdvantage account (American Airlines) 22,000 miles.
What would be the best way of using them?

BA flights to Europe for £35 return and 9,000 miles.
Internal flights in the USA (and maybe within Asia).
Possibly transatlantic flights starting outside the UK.
You might find it easier to create a family account and spend the miles from one account.
Things like hotels and car hire can be an expensive use of points, but are an option if no more flights are likely.

If you think you can get to 80,000 points that would get you return Club Class flights for one to the USA East Coast. Again, best starting from outside the UK to reduce taxes imposed by BA.
There is also Dublin to Boston booked via the BA helpline. That's 50,000 points return each in Club.0 -

It's worth bearing in mind the Dublin-Boston route (and to a lesser extent, the other non-UK routes to the US via Iberia or Air Berlin) is also a good value redemption in economy. So there's no need to double the amount of avios you have (unless you wanted to travel in business of course!).0
