duff new tablet bought off ebay

Hi All
I bought a new tablet - Cube U30 - 10.1 inch, off ebay several months back. It was quite expensive.
Now it completely locks up whilst in use, totally freezing. There's no reset button. If def would advise not to buy these generic tablets, I won't be doing it again!
I will try to return it to the seller for a refund (I doubt a replacement would be worth having) - based in UK but clearly a Chinese importer - but I think I am too late, if it comes to it, to get anything out of ebay - although they were extending their rejection period.
PayPal defeats the Consumer Credit Act, which is a pity.

From what I have read about tablets it seems to be fairly common that by holding the power button for an extended period (something like 30 seconds) the tablet does something (switches on, resets or something, perhaps someone with better knowledge could clarify.).....0

Try a hard reset - you will need to look to how to do it on GoogleDo you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring0

Maybe ask on the Tech board, some real experts there.0

You may need to hold the power and volume down buttons, or various other permutations. Search for your individual model0

Paypal haven't defeated anything, your consumer rights are with the seller, and if they are based in the UK there's no reason why you can't seek to use SOGA to get resolution.0
