What to have with pork chops..?

Options
We have pork chops once a week and I'm getting fed up having them with potatoes and peas..

What else is good? I'm a fussy easter, so dont like too much green rubbish. And mushrooms are banned.

Well you can vary your pots - chips, baked, boiled then quick fry in the chop pan with a sprinkle of oregano (sorry, a bit greenish...) and the juices from the 'resting' chops.

Other stuff - white cabbage (sorry, a bit greenish...), carrots, apple slices or sauce (with a splash of cider).
  • Real chips, couple of fried eggs and baked beans. And bread and butter.

I saw James Martin do something with croquets and they looked a bit interesting.

Shop bought mash, put in chopped parstley.

Take some mash, shape it into a croquette shape, flour it, egg it and instead of breadcrumbs, roll them in flaked almonds and then deep fry, they looked delicious.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Chop and slow cook them for a goulash, with added paprika, passata, onions, dumplings.
  • Broil with a BBQ sauce and serve with homemade mac n cheese.

Slice up an onion, a couple of peeled potatoes also sliced and an apple peeled and sliced.
Lay out a square of tin foil, put a little butter or oil on it. Layer the potatoes, onion and apple on the foil. Season. Put a pork chop on top and make a parcel. Do the same with another one. Bake in the oven for about an hour/hour and a half.
