Spring bulbs

I planted some spring bulbs in September and some two weeks ago and two of the pots have started sprouting. Is this normal, as I thought they had to go through a period of being cold first.
Not that I can do anything about it of course. Happy the bulbs are ok.

I have Dutch iris showing too. Once there's a frost they'll slow down & sit out the winter0

Thanks. Was a bit concerned, as we've had unseasonably HOT weather, so thought it was going to confuse them
