What is the best way to reset my laptop? If I can I want to remove netintelligence. have three options
1. Recovery from recovery partition on harddrive. Would reinstall netintelligence
2. Had created a restore disc when I received the laptop. Same as 1?
3. Clean install using Wins7 disc. Problem is activation code for Wins7 is rubbed off also have no key for office software.

Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems
Well at least i learn something on the way

Hello Wazza,
Skip to item 3, as I don't think I can help you with items 1 and 2.
Try the program Recover Keys
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Security/Security-Related/Recover-Keys.shtml
(free trial download, after which you're not bothered as you've solved your issue);
or Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder (free shareware program)
http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/magical_jelly_bean_keyfinder.html
With both, pay attention to what you are clicking on as inadvertent downloads of other items might catch you out.
Both programs are pretty good at digging out your activation codes.
Good luck - rollon65.0 -
Don't know if this will work http://www.wikihow.com/Remove-Netintelligence-Without-a-Password

. . . oh, and by the way;
just forget about MS Office and download Open Office 4.1.1 from
http://www.openoffice.org/
It is fully compatible with MS Office and is available as a freeware download.
It's default is to save everything with Open Office file extensions (.odt for a text document), but there is a drop down menu that allows you to save with MS Office file extensions (.doc, for the same).
