MSE and Energy Helpline
Have a look at MSE's reference to Energy Helpline. The headline is
£15 cashback per fuel switched
Energy helpline* - get £30 for dual fuel
I think that these two headline assertions are just about as misleading as any MSE-criticised energy supplier has punted. MSE seems to agree, as the rest of the reference - in smaller print - tries desperately to unravel the headline (see below). Surely a succinct statement of what Energy Helpline currently offers might be:
£15 cashback per supplier switched to
Then the following small print is more an over-complex elaboration than a contradiction of the headline
- - - -
(Switch via this specific Energyhelpline* link and you can get £15 cashback. You get £15 for a dual fuel switch, or single gas or electricity switch.
If you switch gas to one supplier and your electricity to another supplier, you get £30. Though if you do two single switches to the same supplier, you'll only get £15).
