  • Hi everyone and good luck for this month!

After doing well at £5 a day in October I'm going to go for £10 a day for November please.

I haven't got any earnings to report yet but a backlog of Bubblews payments should be due in my Paypal soon :j
Thank you to everyone who posts on here :)
  • Hello and Happy November to one and all :)

I haven't been on this forum for about a year now:o 2013 was awful for income and this forum kept saving my bacon month after month with ideas and tips. But towards the end of the year my finances just got squeezed tighter and tighter and I even lost the will to save/stooge/make extra (self-defeating I know, but I guess you'll know what I mean!) as I was just living day to day.:(

Happily, I managed to get a new job about five months ago, permanent part-time 18 hours a week at a liveable wage doing a job I love. Happy Days! :D With a regular income I've managed to bash the worst of the debts on the head and am feeling so much chirpier and motivated to make extra cash again! I'm hoping to save enough for a holiday next year as well as clearing my scary-high credit card balance as much as possible and building up a small emergency rainy-day fund, as the coffers are pretty bare right now!

So thank you to all the wonderful folks who keep this place going, and all the amazing support and ideas you share every day. I'm back and hoping to get rolling again right here and right now!:T

I'd like to ease myself into it all again with £5 a day - £150 for the month.

I can start the pot rolling with £60 I earned at a Halloween Party last night doing spooky Tarot Card readings:eek:
    NOV 2014 £151.74/£150 ... DEC 2014 £303.81/300 ... JAN 2015 £143.33/£150

And yes, I know exactly what you mean by:

That's why I'm so glad I found this challenge and all the friendly and positive members of it who have given me a real boost in my first month. I've got a real buzz about getting stuck-in to squeezing every last penny possible out of life:j.

Thank you, carbootcrazy, and here's sending good luck wishes right back atcha

This place is so inspiring, without it I wouldn't have ever thought of things like TopCashback, which I use whenever it's possible, or little by-the-bys like Qmee (which I've got DS to do as well from his laptop for extra pennies).. not to mention all the other goodies all over the site! Here's to a delightfully prosperous month :T

Morries used to be so good at taking coupons, you might just have had the bad luck to get a cashier who was having a bad day:eek:. I'm shopping at Morries tomorrow so I hope they take mine, I'm depending on it. Any particular ones they quibbled over?

Supervisor came over and refused them. Said they were photocopies. I said no, they aren't. I have no colour ink so printed black and white. I even 2 sent to me by pizza promotion with my details on etc and shw refused them. Said morrisons policy to only accept manufacturers coupons. Ie glossy ones sent in post. Not the first time they have stopped me using coupons.
