Hi,
I chopped myself last night  and stuck a plaster on it!! Now that I have taken the plaster off, I am left with the icky residue, is there anything I can use to get it off?? I still have to be careful with cut as to much movement makes it bleed again!!!
Thanks in advance
M

Vaseline
No vaseline? Olive oil
rub it on the residue and then just wipe off (applying a little pressure only) with some kitchen roll/clean cloth

Nail varnish remover will get sticky residue off, but DON'T GET IT NEAR THE CUT!!!!! ouch!
Try dabbing very carefully with a cotton bud dipped in NVR0 -
 Lucie!!!! What has Murtle ever done to upset you!!????
:rotfl:
I use NVR with sticky residue on mirrors and stuff (WD40 works as well, btw) but oooooo-errrrrrr me toes are curling just at the mere thought of any stray atoms of NVR getting into the cut.

Don't be such a wimp Queenie
I thought my CAPITAL LETTERS would be sufficient warning that it will REALLY hurt!0 -
I thinkI'll have to try the olive oil first....but if it's that stubborn, I'll try the nail varnish remover.....you can see my next post; how do I take the pain away .... :eek:0

I know this does'nt help immediately, but you need to get some Micro Pore Tape in, the type they use in hospitals. And don't forget a packet of lindt so you can make your own plaster up.;)
Its a bit dearer but none of the sticky mess left around cuts or what ever.:)
