Switched & Final Bill?

Hi I have recently switched from Scottish Power to Isupplyenergy, I was just wondering how soon should I receive my final bill & any credit due from the old supplier? I haven't as yet heard anything from either supplier to say that there is any dispute with the readings I gave my new supplier, (which is often the case for delays)

Do I need to contact my old supplier to push them for my final bill?

Thx

Has your new supplier given you an actual switching date/s?

Hi I recently switched from SSE to EDF and received my final bill AND refund within a week however on a previous switch Npower took 8 weeks to produce a final bill and nearer 9 weeks to refund the credit.

They have got a bit of time.

"Ofgem rules require a supplier to take “all reasonable steps” to send a final bill within six weeks of a customer switching suppliers showing anything that is owed."

They have up to 12 months to produce you a final bill.
You should get any refund due once the final bill has been sent to you.
If the final bill doesn't tell you when to then expect the refund shown on that final bill, it would then be worth giving them a call.
