one minute you can choose any size, next they only have a couple of sizes, then sold out completely, then theyve suddenly got a 3-4 again. now they arnt sending the prize until next week! im fed up of chasing it up now really.

i know its a prize and i should be more patient but they keep changing the goal posts so often :-/

I'd much rather have radio silence and not lots of unfounded promises...

Hope you get this ASAP - considering they replied yesterday (i.e. Tuesday), I can't see why it will take them until next week to resend?! :wall:

Whenever there's a clothes item as the prize, I always check the size range of the item, as there's no point entering if they don't do my size.

And so often you look at the prize item and find it is out of stock already, and as many companies now only order a certain amount of stock for the season, that means the winner is unlikely to get that prize anyway by the time the competition is over and it's due to be sent out...

It's so frustrating! I've been waiting for a Chuggington Prize bundle from Tomy since Sep 7 and have been told on numerous occasions "it will be sent out tomorrow".
I wasn't the only winner & it seems lots of others have not received theirs either!
My little boy is so excited and he's already been waiting almost 2 months

I'm almost embarrassed for them - they have been telling Porky Pies about when the thing was sent and happily send you e mails as good as admitting that! Dear me.
I'm also waiting for a CTW prize from September. Currently the e mail rally has come to a stone cold stop and not in my favour............So depressing. Does it really need to be like this?

yeah id rather have had a message confirming they had recieved my address.. then nothing, not being told it was being sent out, then they dont have it, then this that and the other!

the adult jacket is one which was specially made as far as i know, so not something that can be bought in the shops (i maybe wrong)

its just frustrating,

ive no idea why itll take untill next week to send either! :-/

I gave up on an Ideal World prize recently as I was stuck in communication that went round in circles for a month. It got to the point where I was about to send them a copy of the WEM for the fourth time and I decided I had had enough of the frustration and the prize wasnt worth it. I didnt ever want to have to call their customer services team again!

Hope you get your coats sorted out though.

I had an email earlier today about a small runners up prize I've been chasing up since June. Apparently the person sending the email has had 'stern words internally' about the fact it was 'only sent out yesterday.' I await the postman with bated breath. (And if they really did send it out yesterday, an update to say they had would have been nice.) It's a seriously small prize, but it's something I was really excited about when I found out I'd won, so they'll be hearing from me either until I get it or until Ragnarok comes. It's only the third time I've had to chase up a prize though, which I guess isn't that bad.

I hope you get your coats, don't give up!

Can anyone with experience of this tell me do I keep chasing it and if so what next? As always with these things - it's really not the value of thing (really really not in this case - I can afford a couple of bottles of oil and some tinned shizz!!) but the principle. Why offer prizes if you're not going to deliver!

I had a problem with a prize from the Goodtoknow dailies recently. The PR company emailed me initially to find out my size and then just seemed to ignore my repeated emails to them. After a few weeks of no reply I messaged Goodtoknow on FB, they said it was not really their responsibility but they would see what they could do. Sure enough a couple of days later I heard from the PR girl(she said my emails had gone into her junk mail) and I had my prize the next week.

May be worth a try.
