Address of Claimant

I am not privy to all the details but have been asked to find out - during small claims proceedings, is there a way to keep the address of the claimant away from the defendant? Would a c/o address suffice assuming the claimant can always be contacted there?

    Business or private individual?
    What's the reason?

A private individual. I have to say I am wondering what kind of claim would be brought without the defendant already knowing the address of the claimant.

What's the reason the claimant would wish to hide their address?

I'm trying to find that out now. All the info I have found states the address given must be a full residential address where the claimant will receive service of proceedings - but doesn't say it must be their address.

Right, it is claiming a deposit back from a not so pleasant landlord (deposit not held in a scheme, refusal to return any of it, no reasoning why).
