Same, slightly out of date picture as on Google Earth, although you can't zoom in quite as much with the maps. Earth is better.0

??? How can it be better? Google Earth is the same underlying technology just wrapped into a desktop application.
This is purely a concept at the moment, but the 360 degree spinnable view like you're stood on the street yourself is an incredible step up from the typical 2D satellite views."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0
