Deff not a NSD here, went up to London to meet my cousin and her kids & husband. Had a fabulous but exhausting time in Hamleyx, bought fake snow and a couple of surprise bits for the kids. Dinner out and then a walk up regent street to see the lights. Kids did ever so well but were shattered after.

Not sure if I'm counting yesterday as a NSD, I tried to order something on black fri but the site kept crashing. I bought a discount voucher to pay for the item though, so I spent, but didn't use it. Had I known the site would crash, I wouldn't have bought the voucher.

It seems Swedish Chef nicked a vat of Igor's turnip whisky to make the cocktails, which is why Bert Scroggins fell off his organ in the middle of his rendering of Flight of the Bumble Bee, and Wullie McWullie shifted from G Major to B flat Minor and started singing "Igor, whar's yer troosers"....

Now, I'm off to try on this fetching pink and purple sequined mankini for the party.

I hope that you didn't let Hubert see you with it on.I'll never hear the end of it now....'why can't I have one?','Mankinis are so now!','what do you mean I'm the wrong shape?','what's so special about kermit anyway?'....You get the idea! :(
I would lend you the horse liniment Igor gave me, but it turned out to be anchovy paste. As I found when I was stalked by all the neighbourhood cats.....

Must say, Wullie McWullie is doing a fabulous job with his bagpipes....although he did struggle when kerri was doing her jive....what was in that cocktail Swedish Chef gave him?

I believe that the cocktail was inspired by Igor's love of fusion cuisine. It was a Pink Swedish Meatball Lady.

After a long absence,I'm happy to say that the front page has been updated. We have amassed 527 nsds, and with 47 active participants,we have an average of 11 nsds each! :j:j:j

    Well done everyone!!!!!

I'm sorry that I couldn't make it to last night's knees-up.Sounds like you had a great time.Hubert made a lovely tango partner with kermit and they even exchanged a rose (à la Some Like It Hot/the Daphne & Osgood dance)....I did notice that Hubert was now wearing the famed tankini...:eek:

Igor looked lovely and smelt quite nice, though I think he overdid it with the 'Brut'.I'm so glad that I was able to persuade him to have his annual bath beforehand. He was all fired up,strutting his stuff;not an easy thing for one who walks with a crab-like shuffle. He's convinced that he dances as well as Mr J. Travolta.Truth is,he dances like David Brent. :(

So, a close-run dance contest, with BigMumma and StanStantheman foxtrotting when they should have been quickstepping, Hubert losing all the sequins from his hotpants during the Charleston, knitwitch splitting her tights during the Argentine tango, kerri getting stuck around her pole (she has to bring that ruddy pole everywhere with her) during a very kicky, flicky jive, Igor getting in a flap with the lighting technicians - they insisted on green gels over the lights, which clashed awfully with the Orange tans.....everybody wolfed down marmite's cheesy sticky things and my fruity buns....'and if you rub Swedish Chef's turnip whisky cocktail on your face it removes the orange tan.....I have an idea....

Marmite 527 NSDs???? Wowser!!!! How good are we???????

Yes, a lovely night had by all....oh yes, my idea....if Swedish Chef tips all that turnip whisky cocktail into the Ennessdee Towers swimming pool, it would make it very easy for us to remove our spray tans.....last one in the pool is a wet nellie!
