Zooplus & yodel

Last Wednesday I placed an order for £40. Paid by visa debit. Friday I had an email saying my order was out for delivery. No delivery arrived and tracking updated to say my order was at the depot

Monday, my order was again out for delivery. Again I waited in all day and again no delivery. Upon checking the tracking it states they could not gain access. I live in a normal house, on a normal street just off a main road. There are absolutely no access issues.

This morning the tracking states -customer refused delivery, contact supplier. I have not had a yodel van near my house. They have not even tried to deliver.

I phoned zooplus first thing this morning. They promise to get it back out for delivery today and phone back if it doesn't turn up.

It didn't turn up, phoned at 4pm and they were so rude. They refuse to do anything. They refused to chase the order, they refused to replace the order, they refused to tell me their policy on a missing order. They were just unhelpful and dismissive.

Needless to say, the order didn't arrive. I really have no idea what to do now. Can anyone advise please?

Thank you

Ps: I've took screen shots each time the tracking changed if that's any use.

Send them an email explicitly cancelling the order.
In that email state that you expect a full refund of all monies paid. They are allowed up to 14 days to provide the refund.

If the goods subsequently arrive, refuse the delivery.

    job done.

Before I even looked at the title, from reading what you wrote, the first words that sprung to mind were: YO - WE DONT DELIVER - DEL
    IE: Yodel!
then I re-read your title and saw Yodel in there!

Yodel are the worst courier firm in the UK, and have won the award 3 years on the trot for being the most useless, that's why they are cheap..

When I order goods now, I always check with the supplier what courier they use, if told they use Yodel, I tell the supplier to use someone else or i'll buy goods elsewhere.....

    Short story:
Last year, ordered a laptop from Amazon, amazon use Yodel to deliver.
Yodel delivered laptop to a business 1 mile away from me, with a different business name, and then marked it on there system as delivered to our company address.

    4 weeks ago:
Exact same thing as you above... Yodel tried to deliver to our BUSINESS address which is 24/7 and no one was in, nor the following day..., etc...
Took 3 extra days to get the item I ordered, because the retards that work for Yodel do not know how to do there job.... :(
  • Yodel are awful, have to agree, I've learned the hard way!
But when ordering from zooplus in the future its cetainly worth paying a little extra (less than £1 ) for it to be delivered by DPD. An hours delivery slot and you can change it to a more suitable day if you want to :)
Can you contact yodel direct? On their website it should say which depot it is being delivered from and then contact them, Of course being yodel this also isn't easy, don't think they like talking on the phone but often the depot number is on saynoto0870.com.
:hello: Hiya, I'm single mom, avid moneysaver and freecycler, sometimes  but definatly :D
