My ex-husband had the awful habit of whacking the central heating up on full and then opening a window for fresh air as it had got too warm. TG, he's been an ex for 22 years now.
Jumpers first when it's chilly, then throws/heated throws, then heating, mine is set to kick in when the ambient temperature is cooler than one would want.
I like to wash my hair in the washbasin rather than the shower as this minimises the time you spend in the shower. Long hot showers are very vampiric.
I have a shower timer, (like an egg timer) but if you have to wash and condition your long-ish hair properly it isn't possible to do hair and body in under four minutes. A separate hair wash in the basin, using minimal lather is the best method.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Sky HD box, 30 watts day and night 24 hours.
Imagine how many millions of those things are in the UK, it will add up.
Annoys me because its not necessary, Sky could do better.0 -
