Wowcher and merchant not producing the goods

Hi this is my first ever post so go easy on me!
Where do I stand when a company through wowcher do not provide the service I have paid for?
I have emailed and called the company to try and book my appointment and they still haven't replied!
I have now contact wowcher who are slow in response. At this stage they have offered a wowcher credit which is valid for 3 months. I am reluctant to take it as I might not find something I would like in the 3 month period and what happens if it happens again? Where do I stand then?
