I thought I did, by installing Ask (Jeeves), which has been on the Tool bar for years.

Somehow Bing managed to sneak itself back as the default search engine. I have ticked the stop suggestion box, but I seem to remember doing it before, and it's been unticked.

I try to avoid using Google, including Gmail.
Eventually, Google will be able to replace you with an android, because it knows more about you than you do.
