Plumbers help

Could any plumbers out there please help ,e as I think I am having me leg pulled by Taylor Wimpey.
I have just bought a new build house from Taylor Wimpey and the toilet in the main bathroom is so close to the wall that you can't sit straight on it without burning your legs on the radiator. There is plenty of room to have moved it over and centred it between the wall and basin.
When I questioned it with them they said it was because the showerhead from the bath is not allowed to reach the toilet and that is why it is in the corner so much.
Could some please let me know if this is correct or just a load of bulls**t
Thanks

The water regulation do indeed state that foul water cannot come into contact with potable wholesome water, ie no risk of cross contamination. Will moving the toilet create a greater risk than where it is just now?
Though there must be another option surely. Can the radiator be swapped for a smaller one or moved slightly?0 -

Load of carp, You can get a retaining ring for the shower hose to stop it reaching as far. We generally work on a minimum of 450mm from the wall to the centre of the toilet.0
