Well, aye... Ultimately, the message was 'magic polish is worthless*'.
TBH, getting anything out of an Audi dealer is a result, but in the past I've taken away items as unusual as mugs, mouse-mats, those little model cars they keep on their desks and even a Citroen branded tie. It's a bit of fun trying to squeeze one more random thing out of the salesman.
*(I know a load of people will now arrive and say they've had it and it's amazing, never need to polish etc, etc, but IMO, they've got nothing a decent wax every few months won't give them for a lot less than the £3-400 the supermythicalpolish will have cost)0 -
In Mercedes Benz Used Car hows the condition of glass, it may not have cracks, but are there chips that will become cracks?0

I thought it with just adding my experience with carwow to this thread. Before even starting to negotiate I'd recommend getting a quote on carwow. I reduced the price of my XC60 from £33k on the road to £25.7k otr. The closest my local dealer could get was £28k.
Carwow is so simple to use. Dealers don't get your phone number or email so can't hassle you. It's all online. Reply great service.0 -
Also bear in mind that if you buy at end of the month you'll have to tax for the whole month so it makes more sense (from an MSE) point to buy at beginning of month so you can use all the VED you pay for.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0
