Hi
How much is important to provide your middle name while opening an account ?
Suppose A B C, can i just not bother about the middle name ? even if you are on electoral list as A B C.
Does it make any effect on your credit search while not providing middle name ?
Curious
Thanks

Good question OP and I don't know the answer either. I have two accounts with Abbey and one has my middle name and one doesn't so I don't think its that important. Replying to this so I can find it later0

The answer is that you can call yourself anything you like in this country. You can change your name at will so long as it's not for a fraudulent purpose. Where credit is concerned it is obviously better to opt for consistency.0

If you omit your middle name(s) then you are more of a useful target for identity theft, and are more likely to be muddled up with someone else and get saddled with their debts / bad credit history. Which can all be sorted out, but is unnecessary hassle. The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0
