I was just wondering, for sake of explaining pretend I was selling printed leaflets.
If someone came along with a Disney designed leaflet that I printed, could I actually be done for copy right considering I was the one that printed it? Or does the blame lay on the customer as they provided the artwork?
Whist I wouldn't imagine it should affect the situation of the law side, but imagine in a different situation i.e the customer had taken someone's photo...it would be impossible for me to know that it was copy righted to someone else.
Just the 1st version you could say could be morally wrong as you know it's copyrighted but the 2nd you wouldn't of known otherwise, although really looking for whether the fault would blame me or the buyer as I am selling the physical item even if with their design provided?

You would normally have a number of clauses in your terms around copyright, that they warrant that they have permission to print the materials, that they will indemnify you against any claim made against you and that you will obey any cease and desist you receive and not provide them with any refund for doing so (or similar).0
