Hi,
I wondered if anyone can tell me why my pc has decided to NOT allow me to back up anything to disk? When i open my documents (letter, myusic, pictures etc) and right click send to there is no longer the option to save to cd.
I really really need to back up my pc as I have downloaded special occasion pictures from my digital camera but don't want to clear my camera memory until I have backed up my pc.
Any help please.
I am running windows xp on a packard bell (4yearold) pc, and it did this one time before but I managed to sort it (just don't know HOW I sorted it

When you open Explorer, you should be able to see the CD drive branched off 'My computer'. That being the case, you can drag and drop the files you want to back up.
Might be worth getting a USB data stick - 4GB aren't expensive. That should allow you to back up alot of what you will need (a CD is about 600 MB).
Worst case, the likes of Nero or Roxio (CD/DVD copying software) will do the trick.0 -
You can't just Drag & Drop the files on to CD, unless you have InCD or DirectCD installed.
You check check by 'right clicking' on you CD writing drive and then selecting 'Properties' as to whether Windows CD burning is 'enabled'.0
