SSE (scottish Hydro) not billing

Till March next year when my current tariff runs out in December!!!

For some this may sound good but I'm paying them direct debit every month and this is not good for my budgeting and doing my head in!!!

They offered me a stingy £10 compensation because I've been phoning them weekly (like they suggested) since September. Half the time you're waiting 20 minutes to get through to them

Have just emailed Chief Executive (whilst on phone to SSE - funniest thing was the call handler said I couldn't do that? Er what? I just did :D)

Now any ideas on how to get this fixed pronto. Sensible suggestions only (so cancelling my direct debit is not an option)...am in contract till December as it is and prior to this I've had excellent service for 13 years

Thanks

E

On my SSE account I can give a meter reading whenever I want and it calculates how much I've used since my last bill. I can fill in a form to ask for my DD to change if I think it's not covering what the bill will be.

I think I've been paying too much but then my contract runs out in December...

Also they have stopped doing the tariff I signed up for last year :(

    So who knows?
