Still problems after this afternoons trouble

Had same request timed out issues several times. There was a brief time in the evening where I saw a maintenance window message. I tried to post a reply to this message three times this evening. Maybe I will be third time lucky. It is frustrating and I am now copying before posting :-)

Yep..I've had a couple of "time-outs".

Also noticed over the last couple of days that it takes a while sometimes of that little "circle" circling around after I type a post before it comes up on the thread. A couple of posts haven't made it onto threads.

I notice that the main listing of posts for the Forum as a whole will sometimes not show a post I've just made, though its made it through onto the thread itself.

It makes a bit difficult to see which threads have just had new posts put up, as I imagine other people are having the same difficulty - ie there are threads indicating the last post was hours ago on the main Forum page, but there have been more recent ones since.

Just had a glitch again with that last post. I clicked to post it and the circle started circling away as "I am going to put it through" signal. So I clicked to post again and it went through and up came the "this post is a duplicate post" comment.

Seems to be the way to deal with "is my post going through or isn't it?" to push the "post" button twice.

Just checked the main Forum page and its currently showing last post made on this thread as 1034pm yesterday.

checkety check - as some posts now not getting through at all.

EDIT: Aha - think I've just hit the "sweet spot" where it goes normal again for the day. Various posts with recent times coming up on Board.

Think I've identified the time precisely where it went normal again - as at 7.05 am (as that's when an earlier post of mine is timed as having been "posted").

I couldn't get onto the site at all after about 5pm. Gave up about 10.15pm till this morning. Infuriating to see the twitter feed saying problems had been sorted out when they clearly hadn't. Nothing on the forums from "management" either.

You will probably find that the problems you have been having this morning are just the usual stuff that has been going on every morning starting at 5am for the last few months, I have a whole other thread running on this board about that, (also being ignored by Towers)

Done in the quick reply small box, it's lost. I typed the same thing 3 times yesterday evening before I realised it was the site not just me taking too long to write it so the ticket had expired
