How easy is it to change a 2004 Ford KA wing mirror?
Options
Someone has hit my passenger side wing mirror and it is just hanging there.
Does anyone know if it is relatively easy to fit a new mirror or does it involve dismantling the door?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

IIRC:
Remove plastic cover at top of doorcard where mirror is mounted.
Undo a couple of nuts
Remove mirror
Reverse to refit.0 -

I had a look, but am wondering if the plastic cover is easy to remove after 10 years:( Do you just prise it off?Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0 -
Get it prised off!
Even if it breaks, that's preferable over the mirror swinging about and rubbing the paint away
