Fitted Wardrobes

Hi All.
I'm looking to have some wardrobes fitted in my bedroom. I have had a quote from B&Q and this came to £2900!! £900 of this was for fitting which I will be doing with my dad but £2000 still sounds very expensive.
I have had a look on the B&Q website and I can get 5 sliding glass doors for £400 - The doors in the quote came to £1200
Can anybody recommend any other places where I can get some doors and all the interior bits and pieces to put/hang on our clothes on.
Thanks in advance for any replies

I just made my own. We too got a quote in the region of £1900 so I went to B&Q and bought the MDF. They do a free cutting service so its literally a matter of just putting it together. Anyone can do it.....i'm by no means handy but if you take your time and be accurate with your measurements you couldn't tell a difference between my job and a professionals.
In fact I went a step further and made the doors myself also. I couldn't buy doors to fit so my father in law is a woodworker so I got 4 more sheets of MDF and he painted and carved them.
Total cost to me was approx £450 compared to £1900. I was skeptical at first but i honestly couldn't be more happy with them.....the key was to make sure and buy good runners and rails.0
