POPLA Rebuttals

The standard appeal to POPLA is on points of law however where a PPC puts it's own evidence to the POPLA appeal there is a good opportunity to more assertive in the rebuttal.

I'm thinking that on GPEOL it might be an opportunity to say in the keepers rebuttal that "industry analysts suggest that this figure should be around £15. This figure has been calculated from detailed study of publicly available data".

You obviously don't say that this may be a Prankster or other forum derived figure but it gives a chance to put before the assessor what the more realistic figure might be, not the works of fiction seen from Highfield in other posts.

However I'm concerned that any appeal should not be trying to put words in the assessors mouth as the individual assessor may find it as a challenge to their professional opinions.

Some food for thought maybe?

Have they provided you with any figures? You should argue that it's not a GPEOL. That is usually very easy. If you give somebody elses opinion they should be recognised as an expert.
