Polycell crack free ceiling paint - used it?

Aye we did that with the living room - putting the screws in the holes.
I think the final question on the sizing would be (well, final 2)..
1. I read it's to be done 24 hours before papering. Does it have to be this or can it be 48hrs, 72hrs...?
2. When applying the size to the walls/ceiling .... how much do you actually put on? Do you absolutely smother it on or do you just give it a thin coating as though you were painting?0 -
Makes no odds, it's there to 'seal' the walls so that subsequent paste doesn't suck out too quickly, 1 day, 5 days, doesn't matter.
Smooth coat, you wouldn't leave thick pasty bits if you were emulsioning would you?! Same principle: smooth even coat.
