Hairdresser ruined hair - Please help

Hi,
I'm at a total loss and hoping someone can help
Basically, I've been bleached blond for over 10 years.
Never any problems! I went to a new hairdresser for over a year and she always used more 'hair friendly' products (Not peroxide)

Basically the last few times I'd come away with it looking fine only to notice the roots (Where she'd touched up) were a different colour to the rest of the hair
So she'd tell me to come back in and go over it again.
I never felt worried as she always assured me it was a safer type of colorant
She had her own premises and I trusted her
The last time I saw her she'd overlapped the same area four times as it wasn't lifting
I came away with it looking ok

This was 5 months ago and I've lost over 2/3rd of my hair
It's ruined my life, I have to wear a hat all the time
And hardly ever go out
I emailed her when it happened and she said I'd insisted she do it (I never did, I just said I can't go out with it looking like this)
Then when I emailed her a photo she's ignored me
Luckily I work from home, so not many people see me.

I can't carry on like this and want to take it further
I live in London and would have to go no win, no fee

Any advice I'd really appreciate.
Thank you in advance :(

Suing her isn't going to make your hair grow back? You'll be able to afford a decent wig (if you win) but that's about it.

Has someone in the medical field verified the cause of the hair loss?
Have you even seen a doctor?
5 months is a long time - has anything else changed within that time that may have caused the hair loss?

I think in the first instance you should go to your GP to rule put any unfortunate coincidences.

How quick was the hair loss, was it through breakage or were you losing it from the root? If the former did you try any strengthening treatments, if the latter have you seen a doctor?
