This was in flower in spring and I have notice today that it is in bloom again. Any idea why. We live in the south east, it has been very mild. The shrub is abut 5 years old and ha never done this before!

my california lilac has done the opposite - usually it blooms twice per year for me, but this year its only been once.

On a similar note, I planted a small cape daisy plant in May, and its currently a small bush of lovely flowers - so I guess it still thinks its summer!

I imagine it's because the weather has been so mild. We were shocked recently to notice that one of our rhododendrons is in flower again and I spotted new flower buds on one of my clematis this afternoon! :p

I have a lot of wild perennial sweet peas growing around an old tree stump that flower in spring and then die back. They have grown again over the last few months and flowered . ! Crazy weather is to blame !

    These are very similar .
