Buyer wants phone shipped to different address

Sold my phone today on ebay, and after paying, the buyer contacts me with this message:
Hi I'm sorry but we have ordered the phone and the delivery address that we have given is our old address, can you send it to:
The address they want it sending to is unconfirmed, and I politely said I can only post to confirmed paypal addresses. So am I correct in thinking it's either they confirm their new address or it's a refund?

Thanks

Absolutely! They change the address and pay you again.

Ask them to add the new address to their Paypal and Ebay accounts, let you know when they have and you will refund and they can pay again. Tell them that it's for their security as well as yours.
If it's a high value phone it's more than likely someone trying a scam.

The value is around £300, so worth it to me for the seller protection. I've refunded the paypal payment and requested to cancel, if they don't agree though, I won't receive a FVF credit (£30!)

Did you not ask them to pay again using the correct address?
If they refused you could have then opened a non payment dispute. I'd click on the "report buyer" link now. Probably won't help with the FVF credit but might flag the buyer up. If they've tried it before and been flagged up they may end up getting suspended and you'd get an automatic refund.

They seem polite and apologetic and are complying by changing the address. They want me to re-list so they can buy it again. We'll see how it goes.

Everything cancelled and refunded. they've just agreed to cancel a few minutes ago, and I've told them how to change the primary address in ebay.
