Hello,
I have a Linksys ADSL2MUE modem which is running firmware 4.12UK. I have read on various boards that you can upgrade this firmware, but I am having trouble finding the firmware - Linksys don't offer it on its site and I don't want to download something that might brick the modem. I know the firmware is out there are there are lots of threads talking about the improved performance and features over the stock version.
Could anyone help in locating the firmware? I'm told that it's a two stage process to upgrade to v4.22 and then a one stage process to upgrade to later versions.
Thanks.
H.

Why do you want to upgrade it??? Is there any specific reason?? There are numerous threads but none seem to be of any benefit over the 4.12 except it enables ADSL2+ and then wont work with ADSL20

OK heres the link to the 4.22... Seems that linksys went back and disabled the ADSL2+ support..

beware... It is still Beta and could destroy your unit.0 -
Hi, um, no link?
And its just to get more features and play around. I found firmware from routertech which I may try.
