On a lighter note I've just had a notification that Santa Claus is following me on twitter :xmassmileComps £2016 in 2016 - 1 wins = £530 26.2%
SEALED POT CHALLENGE MEMBER No. 428 2015 - £210.930 -
Well it is the final count down now! I have enjoyed doing the Advents this year but I must admit I am looking forward to them finishing! My kids break up from school tomorrow and I need to get my food shopping in next week so will have less time on my hands. I have had a few good wins so I am happy, though I don't expect many of them to turn up until the new year now. It will be like Christmas has come again though when they do arrive!
Good luck with the final week and if you haven't won much - remember many of the companies don't announce their winners until the end so you still have a chance!Merry Christmas xxx
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
I have to admit that I've found entering the advents easier this year- my 3rd advent experience.
Good luck to all, and big thanks to everyone who has posted competitions and added to the daily advent comps.
And as I'm not travelling on Christmas Eve this year I'll be able to enter all those that finish on the 24th, that I've had to miss before.0 -
A shame they don't end the 25th
would increase my chances tenfold0 -

I agree - I find them easier each year too because I know what worked for me and what didn't in the years previous, for example, On my first year I suscribed to every Advent I wanted to enter and opted in to have instant email notifications BUT :eek::eek: NEVER EVER AGAIN! Too many people bumped the threads with 'I won this yesterday' or 'I cannot see the form' and I was inundated with hundreds of emails an hour! This year I had all my folders ready and a routine set up. The only things I forgot to do was create a list of ready made answers to commonly asked quetions.....
1) What I want for Christmas
2) My favourite Christmas tradition
3) My favourite part of my Christmas dinner
4) What I get up to on Christmas Eve
5) My favourite Christmas song
6) My favourite Christmas carol
7) My favourite Christmas movie
8) My worst Christmas present ever
9) My best Christmas present ever
10) My favourite Christmas cracker joke
And I will have a photo of my Christmas tree ready and a selfie of me in my Christmas jumper
I am going to start thinking about my New Year's resolution for the post Christmas comps....:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
Not much longer to go now. :j
I can't wait until they're over & I can go back to having a life, well sort of life. :rotfl:0 -
I'll also be glad when we reach the 20th January!
People who enter the mags dailies will know why!

I know what you mean I have noticed January 20th in magazines daily. Cannot get smilies to work but would put some here if I could.0

OMG I have developed a little ganglion on my right wrist (which I use to control my mouse!) It must have popped up with over use during the Advents!
I developed one in the same wrist when I was 8 because I used to lie across the floor with my head resting on my wrist to watch tv! The doctor told me to whack it with a Bible/heavy book to flatten it down so I asked my older brother to whack it with my big heavy book of Guiness World Records! It worked but my wrist was sore and bruised for a week so I might leave the whacking until Boxing Day when the Advents are over and I have made the turkey dinnerFunnily enough, I won a copy of the latest book of Guiness World Records and have wrapped it up for my eldest so so I might ask him to do the deed!
Oh the joys of the Advents!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0
