Oh please tell us what your secret is...... those are some great wins, well done. As for me?? still nothing 2 months in, aprox 6hrs a day, 0ver 150 comps a day:( I would be greatfull if you could send me some of your luck :).

I use shortcuts for comping like snaplinks to open multiple tabs, split panel to split screen for mag comps, tab counter for keeping an eye on how many tabs open, ctrl w to close tabs quick ctrl t to open new tab quick, roboform too.

I have approx 20 folders and order my comps and work through those, I comp in short bursts as I have a toddler and never fret about what I haven't done.

I don't waste my time and linger on anything, including chatting! I rarley say much as I comp, my fb is just compers so not too pee off none compers.

I catch up on Mse in the evening when toddler is in bed.

My one extravagance this year was a new latop for myself an Hp elitebook, a very decent spec which can handle the tabs and usage with no issue.

I have been lucky enough to win quite a bit the last 5 advents but I always have extremely lean times like every comper does and I just plod on and keep the faith something will kick in again.

I'm very lucky my son will pick up my laptop and do whatever is open whenever I'm busy to keep me uptodate.

Anyways back to my visit to this thread, i totally am charmed by this advent fab prizes and a lovely scene x

i tried the split screen but gets confusing (unless copying answers across for the magazines)

I do get out! a lot toddler group several times a week, 2 dogs walked 3 times a day with toddler!

I'm generally on the go from 5:30am to midnight! Love keeping busy.

Good luck all, managed to win toddler a fab bike and doll yesterday which will go in her birthday pile for Jan, Seems the toddler comps are my lucky lot!

Toni, you've trained your son to be a little comper! :T How handy! LOL

How do snaplinks help and why do you use split panel for mag comps?
I just open them in different tabs. My computer is so slow, though. When I open all links, only about five open and it practically crashes the computer. I can't open more than 10.

ETA: I love the Clipper one. So pretty. I hadn't seen it yet. My fave every year is the tombola one.

I set mse main comps page 1 to 100 comps showing and snap open what I want to enter since I last came to comp, Using that alongisde ctrl W to close them out after entering makes it speedy.

Split panel for mag comps and any quiz type is a god send seeing the answers on one side and form on other makes it very quick.

My time is very limited so I need to use every shortcut I can to maximize what i do and I find how I'm doing it at the moment works for me.

More than happy to talk anyone through adding addons on ff, Have helped loads on here and fb through the years.

Well tomorrow is the 12th, so we'll see if there are any new advents that are better. :)

Have to say I've found a few more to enter with the ones starting from the 12th onward.

But actually the dailies have got some great prizes at the moment, even though they don't finish until Christmas week, or late January.
