I miss Pringles
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
I mean it's a shame it's not running this year, I loved the way everybody posted on the thread when they won one of the 5,000,000,000,000 small prizes.Rational judgement, now, at this very moment.
Virtuous action, now, at this very moment.
(Wisdom, Courage, Self-control, Justice)
Willing acceptance - now, at this very moment - of what you can’t change0 -
I miss the Brothers Cider one, I had a few TShirts and other bits and bobs last year, totally over Advents alreadyA closed mouth gathers no feet.0

Looks like some sort of Currys advent is afoot, although I cant work it out at the moment....tough day at work.....0 -
Shame to see some companies, such as Scalextric, Hornby, Airfix, who offered a prize a day on previous Advents are now offering a mixture of offers. It seems companies are cutting back and swapping prizes for offers
I also agree they are not as fun to enter! Stabilo used to have flying snowballs on their Advent but it is just plain this year!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
Advents I mean!
I'll be honest - I have hated every minute I've spent on them today :rotfl::rotfl: - I don't think I'm a natural at them. MSE has been very slow and sticky today as well which hasn't helped.
But - big but! - thanks to everyone who posted them and for the organising of the Advent thread. I will try to keep it up but I'm so behind with everything else! Someone pass the Valium please!:rotfl:0 -
Overwhelmed is an understatement lol but I actually enjoyed them.... even if i did give myself a headache :rotfl:You never learn anything by doing it right
A very special thank you to everyone that posts :heartpuls0 -
I am exhausted full day at work then race home to the Advents need someone to wipe my brow!0

I was looking forward to today. Was all organised, left the day free.
Should have known better! TV does a wobbly & have to spend the morning ringing round, sitting on hold to find out nobody available till later in the week. So now the family are wondering round like lost sheep & nattering the hell out of me.:eek::eek:
Add to that the web connection has been pap all day (getting page not found & having to try again 15 mins later) Feel like I've done everything twice. I've hated it. too. How the posters cope, I'll never know :A
Thanks for giving me the chance for a vent. Hope we all have a better day tomorrow.0 -
My internet has been doing that all day too. All day. It's doing it now - just took 3 attempts to get to this page.
BTW thanks to whoever moved my thread. Didn't realise I had committed an infraction.:o:o. MSE - a minefield of possible blush-making errors.
