    Afternoon all,

Tru - Glad you feel a tad better.
    Donnygal - Enjoy the party!
Dandy - It's an age thing. Mine was like that. Now he has another gf whom we have never met (been with her quite a while now) and he is always at her house in between College and coming home to change his clothes and eat our food. The way I look at it now is at least it is saving my electric a bit!

Anyway, been to Aldi and a mooch up the High Street. I did look in the Charity Shops but didn't find anything I like/want/need.
DH has just gone to football and I've tidied up the garden and cleaned the bathroom.

    Have a good evening.

    Hi everyone,

Gers, we did that trip a coupe of years ago at this time and it was beautiful - the autumn colours are spectacular. We went across to Eigg for an hour as well.

Didn't get chance to post yesterday. I decided I needed to get some new flat shoes before tramping round London with sis-in-law. My present ones cause my socks to creep down until they are all bunched up under my foot, very annoying. I spent ages walking round the shop to make sure my new ones don't do the same.

I then went into my old office and arranged to do some work for them starting the week after next. I don't know how it will go but they were desperate for help and I can always chuck it in if I hate being back in the world of work. It's only temporary anyway.

Tru, I second LW, if you're not better by Monday go to the dr.

    Have a good day.

    Afternoon everyone

Up early this morning to take DD to work as I was going to L!dl, Costc0 and Tesc0. Got everything I needed, including a few pressies for that day in December. Then stopped nearer to home and got quite a few bits and bobs in Home B@rgains, DDs stocking is done now and I paid for some of her trip to NY for her main pressie. I have been collecting quite a few bits for DS2 as well, just need to know what he would like as a main present, unfortunately it's his birthday on Christmas Eve too!

Got some hot water bottles in HB for £1.99 and I have a fleece that hasn't been out of the packet so I think I will try to make some covers, looked up a pattern and it seems quite easy. We'll see

Still raining, Gers, I know what you mean, it really hasn't stopped for very long at all. Washing on the airers, cleaned the downstairs bathroom yesterday and will do the rest of the HW tomorrow. Didn't have a great nights sleep last night so a bit tired.

LO soup for tea, DD is out so I can please myself.

HH - Enjoy your week off.
tru - What the others have said! Hope you feel better soon.
DG - Hope you have had a fun afternoon and your hands respond to the new medication.
Butterfly Brain - Enjoy the zoo tomorrow.

Have a good weekend. Take care. XX
