Made a chilli last night and dropped a bit of passata on my white link. Didn't notice until 3 hours later and.mopped up with a wet kitchen towel. It has just made a larger area pink.

Could be some tips here.....
Remove Ketchup Stains From Plastic, Metal, Glass, Vinyl, Bamboo And Porcelain
Though tomato ketchup can be easily wiped clean from these surfaces, at times it can leave a permanent stain on such surfaces. In such cases, use a damp sponge or cloth doused in warm suds and swab the surface scrupulously. Follow it up with a clean mop and wipe it dry. Repeat the treatment for more stubborn ketchup stains.
Remove Ketchup Stains From Floors And Tiles
Using a cloth or a scraper, remove the ketchup from the surface. Using a clean cloth dipped in warm soapy water, wipe off the stain from the surface. However, if the stain refuses to go, make a poultice of mild bleach, water and detergent and apply it on the stain. Cover it with a damp sponge and let it stand for a while. Once the stain is absorbed, mop the floor and allow it to dry.

Sounds like it can be difficult!0 -
That sort of flooring is supposed to be hard wearing and stain resistant. Bit of bleach on a cloth, plus elbow greaseI like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
Have you tried oil? I have a white blender and it got badly stained with tomato - the instructions said to buff it with cooking oil if this happened. I wasn't expecting it to make a difference but it worked brilliantly! (obviously wash the oil off afterwards otherwise it will be very slippery!)Jan NSD 4/15
