Hi
My cousin is running a small double glazed window / Door / Roof / Painting business and that is his bread and butter & doing well. I work in a IT company where i work 4 days and then next 4 days re off due to nature of my hours. I always wish to start my own business and last night my cousin offered me to become his partner and discussed with me to open a new office in different down where he already have local customer knowledge. In shorts he want to expand his business.
I do have little knowledge of this business but still required advise of do and don't and what i need to be aware.
Secondly what is best medium for advertise this sort of business.
Please advice
Thanks.

Hi,
has your cousin his own manufacturing element that you could use until you get established?0 -
You work in IT. What do you know about "double glazed window / Door / Roof / Painting". If nothing, stick to your day job.0

Your cousin is in the business already so I think he is the person you should be speaking to. How does he market his business? You are joining a business that is working and so just adopt the proven methods. Are you going into this as a silent partner/marketing person/office based or you are actually going to be doing the installations yourself?0
