Bloody sheep

sorry if this is in the wrong place...
I have a nice pure new wool suit that I have to wear on Monday. I had it dry cleaned...there was a blood stain on the collar. The dry cleaning left a mark still. Is there any old-wives-super-remedy that I should be trying? Thanks a lot in advance.
ps NO BAAAAD answers.
Don't ram advice down my throat
Don't try to pull the wool over my eyes
This is a friendly forum so ewe must be nice
There are no more ovine puns so don't even try to think them up!

Can't say for sure but I'll take haggis. Stikatak Carpet Stain Remover. I know it's for carpets but I used it only last night on the foulest of stains on a sweatshirt and it cleaned it the flock up. It smells kind of strong, though.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Grow your hair long enough to cover the stain.
If time is too short, hair extensions.
    Sorted.

thanks, I'll grab some, damn stubborn stain all right
  • It should be possible to break down the stain using hot water, but you need to be patient. You need some cotton wool buds, and a white handkerchief. Pour some boiling water into a cup, and dip a cotton wool bud into it.

Then press the hot bud against the stain, don't rub it, and then immediately press the folded handkerchief against the stain, to absorb the water. Hopefully, the end of the bud will be slightly pink, and so will the area of the handkerchief you used.

Then get a fresh bud, or if you want to be super money-saving, use the other end of the bud, and repeat the process. If you try to speed things up, and rub against the mark, you'll damage the fibres. It's not a sure-fire remedy, but the least messy that I know, but don't lamblast me if it doesn't!

    Good luck!
