Hi
We have laminate flooring except for stairs which is carpeted.
We also need to vacuum clean the car once in a while.
Planning to buy Henry type Vacuum Cleaner
Can anybody suggest which model is best in terms of more suction power, less weight and other useful features

Standard Henry should be fine. No need for pet brushes etc unless you have a hairy pet.0

Henry/Hetty HVR2000

"Which?" review of the Henry HVR200 gives the vacuum cleaner a score of only 54 per cent.
It says its good on laminate floors and good at allergen retention but poor at pet hair removal and poor on stairs.0 -
Numatic probably didn't pay Which? Enough.0

Which are idiots. I haven't read the Henry Hoover review, but I have had the pleasure of reading some of their camera reviews and the details are usually just wrong. I would not trust them.
My mum has had one of these Henry's for many years (20ish) and is very happy with it (and she has a dog), it has always been reliable and no doubt she will get another one if it ever fails. Our builder also uses the ruggadised pro version and that gets a lot of stick.0 -

henry hoovers are great for office carpets or carpets with no pile which is why they are probably very good on laminate. If you have a decent piled carpet you need a hoover with a beater bar in it and you wont get much better than sebo. You could buy a dyson of course but you will need an extended warranty as they are very prone to failures (failures not failure!!! lol)Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0

For our carpet we have the airobrush attachment.0

Had a Henry for years, best little work horses, which is why Builders use them, they go on and on and on.
Mine has a carpet beater thingy on and works brilliant picking up pet hairs that our long haired Main Coon leaves behind.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0
